Today was a wonderful day of serving. The beautiful weather brought many people for breakfast. We were able to give out all of the food and have some memorable conversations. We rejoiced with those who had answered prayers and listened as so many shared struggles. We barely held it together when a six year old girl came through the line with her father, yet rested in knowing she ate at least one hot meal today. We were prayed for by a man who gave God glory despite his circumstances. We spilled the coffee and ran out of pancake syrup, but God provided more and Satan was defeated. We were blessed by the words of Isaiah 26:3 in our devotion and reminded that perfect peace can be ours when we focus on Jesus. God was with us in the park today. He woke us up, got us going, kept us safe, and blessed our efforts. Grace’s Kitchen is a feeding ministry. It provides physical and spiritual nourishment to hungry souls. It is God’s idea and we are humbled to be a part of it. As we pray about opening the physical location of this ministry we look back and see God’s faithfulness to this point. We have no reason for doubt or fear. We are taking it day by day and step by step with our hand in His. Thank you for your prayers.
