42nd meal served this morning.

It has been amazing over the last 10 months to see how God has worked not only in the lives of those Grace's Kitchen serves, but in the lives of the servers. Many of our team members have experienced life changes that mirror the situations of those in the
park. It gives us common ground and the ability to relate. It also reminds us that we are all sinners living in a fallen world and that we are all in desperate need of a Savior to redeem us.

Today there were more people than ever before in the park. People kept coming and coming, and the food supply ran out quickly but we were able to serve everyone who came. We have been told that our numbers will continue to increase, and we are praying about how to manage this. Thankfully, our volunteer numbers have also continued to increase and there were plenty of workers to help. We are always amazed how God calls the exact right people to serve with Grace's Kitchen. Not everyone comes every time, but God ordains the conversations, smiles, and "hellos" He wants to happen and He knows our needs before we ask of them.

Grace's Kitchen is a learning process for us all. We are constantly seeking God's heart on this ministry, and we always come back to the fact that He has a heart for all of His children. We are to care for those that God cares for in whatever ways we can. We are to be His hands and feet in this world. It's that simple. Grace's Kitchen is our offering. May He be well pleased.
